Program For Social Security Voc Rehab

After receiving licenses to practice cosmetology in New York in 1977 and later in Texas I agreed to used the assets to created a training program for the Social Security Administration/ had requested a vocational rehabilitation program or job training which worked out to be an extensive project on hairstyling. Both Hairstyling and video production of hairstyling appear fairly lucurative business interest which because of my prior training and licensing in this field suggest a reasonable possibility of success. The program suffered extensive computer hacking and other problems which made it's success non a feasiable reality.

Vocational Rehabilitation Goals
Identified By UT Professor
Dr. Robert Cannon of UT, Texas agreed to be a volunteer computer instructor after a year long study of how the internet sites should be constructed. With about a million site visits in 2 years this area initially looked quite promising.

1. Business Rule #1: The Customer of a service is always right". Ultimate goal of this project is to recapture skills, learn new skills, and if possible find gainfully employied in field authorized by medical & legal counsel.

2. Business Rule #1: The Customer of a service is always right".

3. Program Requirement for Non ProfitsUnauthorized Programs we learned from 1997-2000 that social service concerns frequently try to change or divert rehab for their own vested interest.

4. Rule 2Denial of Unfunded Proposals: request made which are not are not funded do not merit respect.

Phase 1 Web Site Development
Operational Questions
Phase 1 involves learning to build and improve a large website as part of an ongoing book publishing/desktop publishing activity (might be useful in other fields of employment later):

1. HairbookInternal Interanet Site

2. Policy Question Study Protocol 2: for site links: Because of the large number of hair related sites on the internet some of which contain adult content-porn, worse... links must be studies to make sure they are suitable for general public. Editorial questions:

3 Haircutter Homepage This site has excellent high quality work, however it is also linked to a site which appears to promote some type of bondage. Do the merits of linking to this site outweight risks?

4. Haircut Net This site orginally had some excellent computer files they let me work with. Over a period of years the site is trending towards sexually explicit themes which is quite different from my work.

5. German Site This site has some of the best work found in the industry however some areas may be pornographic. Because the questionable materials are in remote areas of the site where the reader would have to search them out the link will be made

6. Copyright Waivers Many of these for profit organizations were willing to waive copyright considerations for this vocational or training activity.

Instruction In Animated Gifs
@ University of Texas @ Austin, TX 2000
In December, 2000 and Janurary 2001 Dr. Cannon at the University of Texas supervised our research on animated gif files and how to create and edit jpg files. Uncompleted research is pending on video production and such concepts as streaming media.

1. Study of video such as avi, rm,... Few if any public access videos exist for use on the internet which can be used as examples:

2. Study of Profit IncentivesHow can Haircut Net publish on such an unlikely topic as female Headshaving and seem to get rich?

3. Study Protocol Organize video materials by category, color, light factors, and suitability for examples of public viewing.

4. Microsoft Power Pointis program which edits videos.

5. Web cam & software Staples Office Supply for $149.00 Can proficiency in use web cam be developed?

6. What software edits real video or medial files and what is "steaming media"

Vidal Sasson Questions
Apprenticeship vs. Formal Schooling
Vidal Sasson-Sorry I Kept You Waiting Madam" World famous hairstyling Vidal Sasson devoted part of a chapter of his book "Sorry I Kept You Waiting Madam" to licensing requirements of NY. These nice folks required Vidal and Staff moving in from England to prove they were qualified to work in a salon!. The skills Vidal was required to demonstrate were not only useless for hairstyling but older than Moses. English System WorksThe English utilize an apprenticeship program which obviously graduates qualified students without gouging the taxpayer for $5,0000.00 educational program geared to failure.

For instance NY required 1,000 hours, Pennsylvania requires 1500, Texas 1,500 and will not recongnize licenses/credits from other states. Interesting scam to say the least.

5. Repayment of Student LoanThis letter from US Department of Education resolves repayment of student loan to attend UBI Cosmetology School in 1977.
