Chris,

Unfortunately, we do need you to be able to bathe and dress yourself while here. We cannot have others helping with shoes/socks/etc. We typically have close to 190 people in our shelter downstairs so we aren't able to help with those types of activities. I'm also nervous that you would not be able to get the kind of rest you require here at the shelter with so many people around.

I think that if you really want to move to Iowa, that you should make sure that you have a place to move into before coming here because there really aren't any options for you to stay unless you already have a skilled nursing/assisted living facility in place. Your doctor possibly could help you find a facility that would work for you.

Hello Chris-

The Salvation Army does operate a shelter that can accommodate people with disabilities as long as you are able to care completely for yourself. A little about the shelter and the community. The shelter is a 63 bed shelter with 32 beds for single men. The sleeping area is 4 people per room, sharing a bathroom. Each room is responsible for keeping their room clean and each person is responsible for keeping their area neat. Rooms are given a list of chores to keep the common areas clean once a week along with assisting with breakfast clean-up and lunch set up. Everyone one is to meet with a case manager once a week to discuss plans and set goals. During this meeting an assessment called the VI_SPDAT will be be given. Your score from this assessment will get you on the list for housing programs. The wait time to obtain housing through this process is at least 6 months - 1 year.

The length of stay in the shelter is a maximum of 90 days as long as you have been following our policies, followed through with goal setting and are actively working to move out of the shelter into safe, stable affordable housing. The shelter is 1st come 1 serve on a daily basis. Once you have a bed you are able to keep it as long as you maintain sobriety and follow our policies.

I arrived here in Reno and have been admitted to the bed rest program and have a case manager here who will try and help me get into assisted living.

The attached newspaper articles explains the State is cutting beds for the assisted living programs due to financial problems.

At this point you are on the wait list to receive a HCBS program and it gives other instruction about Medicaid. I no longer have the capacity to provide you services since you are not accessing Poverello services or in the state. I will send this letter to your new address. After that you can choose to follow up on your own if you are still interested.

Amicus Curias Brief on Constitutionality of Federal Budget for 2018 which proposes to make cuts in SSDI; medicaid; and other programs which are mandaged by US Court ORDERS

As you can see from the enclosure it took 45 doctors 13 years to do colon exam, 160 doctors years to discover Xarelto, 10 doctors 5 years to remove tumor in Dr. Office; a total of 300 some odd doctors with few actual completed treatments. It does not make any difference how the health care law is amended as long as providers can defraud the government with impunity and send health care cost out of the Universe.

Easy solution 2 doctor rule. 1 doctor prescribed solution to basic health care problem and 1 doctor repairs it or they aren't entitled to get paid.

As you can see from US District Court Notice I had to move out of Montana because of breathing problems (I don't have CPAP Machine) and the Poverello Center dorm lacks Air Conditioning. It is embarrassing to admit I have to move when the temperature goes above 75 degrees to a coastal area or high elevation.

I was invited to Reno,NV by a non profit agency and as you can see I have applied for Medicaid and have SSI verification letter.

I don't believe I can return to Montana prior to October or November when temperatures drop below 75
