It is the job of local,state, and federal prosecutors to enforce and prosecute all laws with fairness and equity and not deny any person the equal protection of the law (14th and 5th Amendments. If these folks could come up with any better excuses to complete some simple medical work they could change their corporate name to losers are us. They all go through the motions to start the work which needs to be done; however after being paid never make a real effort to complete the work. The doctor incorrectly explains this is my problem-the President of the United States explains it is his problem.

Your patient Chris Walters visited our emergency room 2-3-2010 and I ORDERED his admission into the hospital for treatment of a "Deep Vein Thrombosis". Unfortunately Mr. Walters was apparently unaware our hospital is part of the Wake Forest Baptist Hospital network where he had been denied referrals and hospitalization for about 10 years. My decision to admit Mr. Walters to the hospital for appropriate treatment was over ruled by the Hospital Administrator apparently based on computerized records we used to block his receiving treatment at our satellite facility in Winston Salem, NC. As your staff can see we made a referral to a primary care physician Dr. Stephen Hsieh MD after explaining to Mr. Walters he probably will not accept medicade as a form of payment.

Mr. Walters extensive online medical records showed Coumadin is not an effective treatment for his DVT so I prescribed Lovenox for 30 days:

The doctor has prescribed 60 injections on outpatient basis without effective follow on to treat DVT and the listed costs is $100.00 a unit. The manufacturer has already explained that long term use of this medication is inappropirate and will have serious side effects.

Touted as one of the best hospitals in the United States it was no brainer that Chris visited 2-21-2010 and tried to get his medical work done.To help Chris understand we want to pay taxes to support him forever out PA Thomas Veldhouse (TJ) explained he could not be bother to get Chris's medical history and records Chris brought.

2. Having verified a DVT which kills 1/3 of it's victims The Resident Dr Adianne Sever began discussing Chris's options for treatment; was interupted by a phone call and never bothered to complete the patient history; treatment plan..... Our staff assured Chris that we understood his train back to Burlington, NC left at 5:30 PM and that if we needed to keep him longer our social worker would get him home.

3. We discharged Chris about 8:30 PM and our social worker explained we have no way to get him home; the doctor on duty explained Chris could sleep in bush outside over night Finally Tammy Charge Nurse for the hospital made arrangements for Chris to sleep in hospital lobby.

I am finding that larger communities such as Greensboro have transportation and doctors but most of the doctors dont accept medicade. Small communities which dont have public transportation seem to have doctors who will accept medicade.

As you can see I wrote to the Alamance County Department of Social Services and thanked them for the list of providers but have no way to get to these locations many miles away.

On January 1st, 2010 I was in the local hospital with Deep Vein Thrombosis being told by doctors that the medication they normally prescribe is not working in my case. So my year starts off with having a medical problem which 586,000 other Americans get each year and 300,000 die of because of embolisms.

Thanks to the excellent assistance of your shelter and community I was able to find a doctor to prescribe an alternate medication called Lovenox which is working nicely to keep me alive. I generally wouldnt have a case plan where the goal stated as sleeping in bed all day or staying alive.

As my time at Allied Churches finishes up on 4-25-2010 wraps up I wanted to thank your staff, Alamance County Department of Social Services; and the Social Security Administration for your excellent assistance.

I was having problems breathing for about 2 weeks and waking up maybe 30 times a night and finally went to Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, NC where Doctor David Kaminiski MD diagnosed Sleep Apnea which described as treated via a CPAP machine which keeps the nasal passages open so the patient does not stop breathing.

1. The Doctor did blood test for potassium levels and kidney function-payable.

2. The doctor brought up the subject of CPAP machine which he has not written a prescription for such a device-recommended no pay.

3. The doctor volunteered that persons with my medical condition should be on lovenox for 3-6 months and did not prescribe additional medication

Should Medicade foot the bill for the hospital suggesting a course of treatment for sleep Apnea and them failing to follow through with the hospital's own prescription a CPAP machine?
